How much time does a Home Inspection take?

Depending on the size and condition of the property, a standard Home Inspection will take approximately 2 to 4 hours to be completed. After the inspection, we will go over any conditions found before I return to the office to analyze the inspection and photos taken to compile your report. You will receive your detailed electronic report within 24 hours of your inspection.

Do I/we have to attend the Home Inspection?

You have the choice to attend your Home Inspection, but you are not required to do so.
The contract agreement and payment can be arranged by email. Many home buyers will join the Home Inspector at the Home Inspection to learn about their new home. If you are unable to attend your home inspection you will receive a detailed electronic report with all the pertinent details and important information included. You are welcome to contact your Inspector with any questions you may have about the home and the inspection. 

What does a Home Inspection cost with Red Brick Home Inspections?

The cost of your Home inspection will vary depending on the size as well as the type of home needing to be inspected (3000 Sq Ft House vs 1000 Sq Ft Condo).
Red Brick Home Inspections offers competitive pricing for Airdrie, Calgary and surrounding areas. We include ongoing client service with all our inspections, being there to answer your question or concerns well after your inspection. Prices will range from $350 to $550.

How do I pay for the Home Inspection?

At Red Brick Home Inspections we accept E-Transfer, Cash and Credit Card. Payment can be made in advance of the Inspection or at the at the time of Inspection. Your Home inspection report is released upon verification of payment.

What does the average Home Inspection report include?

The average Home Inspection report contains approximately 60 pages with approximately 100 photos, which will be dependent on the size and condition of the home.

We will also include maintenance suggestions, as well as detailed descriptions and diagrams to explain any serious concerns and safety issues visibly found during the inspection. During your inspection we will also discuss and verify the locations of all main shut off valves in case of emergency, which will also be detailed in your report.
